I read this book a while back. This was an emotionally wrenching story. Natalie is a seventeen yr old girl who falls in love for the first time. She hides her abuse from everyone until her sister catches on. Natalie breaks things off with her boyfriend but ends up taking him back. They get very involved in the relationship and her boyfriend gets more possessive and jealous. The more time they spend together the worst he becomes.

All the signs are there that Josh is an abusive guy but Natalie doesn't see it until it's too late. This is a story every female of any age should read. It's a story that is so real, it's what goes on today in some relationships. This story made me cry. Natalie's story shows how the relationship goes from bad to worst. It shows how after Josh her life changes and how she deals with the changes in her life.

This book is worth the read, especially for young girls.

This book started off somewhat iffy for me. It seemed to be lacking details. But once the author got to the heart of Natalie`s story, I couldn't put this book down. I cried, laughed, and felt everything the main character Natalie felt. I definitely recommend this book!
This is an amazing story, it touches some real issues that can affect young girls, and brings light upon a sad but "real" subject.I couldn't stop reading! It made me feel so many emotions, touched my heart and moved me to tears..AS a mom of 3 daughters it made me aware of how real domestic abuse is, at any age. I think that this is a story for all age groups. A real eye-opener!!The author told a great story and touched all the areas of domestic violence, and how many people deal with the pain after being in a bad relationship. Very Knowledgeable! Highly recommend.
The story is about a high school senior named Natalie. She starts dating this guy named josh he becomes violent to the point where he puts her in the hospital. That's all I'm going to say without giving to much of the book away. It is hey realistic on how the charechters react and how Natalie overcomes what josh did to her. I would recomend this to young women. This is a very important topic to know about.
Im not going to Lie..This was a tough read.What this girl goes through is horrible.I like that the author is not afraid to write what she does.So many seem afraid to broach these real subjects.I read this as an adult but i hope younger girls read it as well.They need to know that its not okay for a man to hit you.Its not your fault.I really cannot say enough great things about the book.

This novel has an incredible emotional impact!

It is the story of a courageous teen girl whose relationship with an abusive boyfriend forces her to cope with many tough traumatic events.

As I read this book I came to truly care for Natalie and found myself rooting for Natalie as she struggled to find respect, dignity, peace of mind, love, happiness, and a normal life. After reading this story, I don't think I'll ever forget Natalie.

The book touches on many real-life topics - teen friendships, teen romance, abusive relationships, young motherhood, family life, and alcoholism.

The story is quite an emotional rollercoaster. I was devastated by Natalie's tragedies but elated by Natalie's triumphs.

If you're interested in a great story, great characters, and a work that will inspire you to be the best person you can possibly be, then nothing could be better than to read this!

You will never forget Natalie's Story.
I could not finish this book. It started out good, except for the fact that the first "I love you" came out of the blue and way too soon. At 60%, it stalled out and I got bored. It also became irritating as all get-out with someone crying and/or tears welling up/falling two to three times on EVERY page. Ugh.
I totally loved this book!
Talia Jager writes a story that pulls at your heart strings regarding issues of abuse. My heart broke for Natalie for making one mistake falling for the wrong guy. That mistake changed her whole life.The emotional upheaval made me sick to my stomach, I wanted to protect Natalie and I wanted to beat Josh within an inch of his pathetic life. I could not have adored her sister, family and friends more! The characters are laid out extremely well.
The reality that some high school, and young adults go through this, and the author did a good job to bring awareness regarding this subject.
